Information We Collect
Depending on your role, we may collect name, email address, phone number, employee ID, department, organization, vendor assignment, login and OTP verification details, order history, cart and checkout details, payment references, feedback, ratings, support messages, device/browser information, notification tokens, and operational audit logs.
For authorized staff workflows, the platform may also process vendor compliance records, identity documents, food-safety documents, employee records, and other uploaded operational documents required by the organization.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify users, process cafeteria orders, calculate prices and taxes, confirm payments, show tokens and order status, send operational notifications, provide support, prevent misuse, meet legal or tax requirements, and improve the service.
Sharing
Information may be shared with the organization you are ordering from or managing, relevant vendors and cafeteria staff, payment providers such as Razorpay when enabled, messaging or email providers used for OTP/support, hosting and infrastructure providers, and authorities when legally required.
Security and Retention
We use access controls, HTTPS, role-based permissions, and operational safeguards. We keep information only as long as needed for service, legal, tax, audit, security, dispute, and operational obligations.
Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account or food-ordering profile from the Account Deletion page. Some order, payment, invoice, tax, security, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution records may be retained where required by law or legitimate business obligations.
Children
Ingest is intended for organizations, staff, employees, and cafeteria visitors. It is not directed to children.
